What information does Elizabeth's Shops collect and why?
We collect information you provide when you place an order, send us an e-mail or call us. This information may include:

    ElizabethsShops.com sends customers using credit cards and/or debit cards to PayPal for payment where PayPal has the security of credit card transactions by seeking high standards in credit card security to better protect the information you give them when you shop with us. Their server uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to protect storage and transference of your data from wrongful parties.
    Does Elizabeth's Shops ensure the security and privacy practices of other sites it links to?
    While we carefully select the websites we link to, we are not at fault for the privacy practices or content of these linked websites. You are under the privacy policy of the operator of that particular site when you give personal information to them. Please read the policy of that site before sharing any information.

    Free Shipping and Exclusions
  • Sometimes we offer Free Shipping with a minimum order within the USA and occasionally Canada.
  • Order minimums do not include shipping, handling or insurance.
  • Items that are heavy weight are excluded from Free Shipping offers, even though the checkout system may not recognize that fact. Please email if it is not clear whether your items will be shipped free or not.
  • Free shipping offers are for Standard USPS Shipping only. We are unable to offer free shipping Internationally except for Canada at times.
  • Offer does not include separate insurance, handling or tracking fees.
  • If you return items from an order that was shipped with a Free Shipping offer, normal shipping charges will be applied and deducted from any refund due.

    Shipping Rates Information
    Elizabeth's Shops use the U.S. Postal Service to ship our items.

    Shipping rates and delivery time are dependent on the shipping destination. Most packages are shipped by Priority Mail within the USA -- By International First Class for less than 4 pounds or Priority Mail outside the USA. When purchasing multiple items, we combine shipping. However, shipping charges may appear to be more than actual. When paying by PayPal, we refund over-payments. When paying by credit card through our system, we package the items together and charge the correct shipping amount before processing your credit card.

    Books are shipped by Media Mail. Please ensure that you do NOT mark Media Mail for anything other than books. Items that are not Media Mail (books only) will be charged the corrected amount of shipping since the U.S. Post Office will only allow books to be sent by Media Mail. Update on 12/8/08: Unfortunately, the Media Mail option was made unavailable at checkout, but books will be mailed by Media Mail or First Class, whichever is less; and overage in payment will be refunded.

    Insurance is recommended. If you wish insurance, please check the box for insurance after entering your mailing information at checkout. Insurance will then be added into your total.

    US Priority Mail shipped within the USA is from 2 - 9 days delivery time; to Canada is from 5 - 15 days delivery time; and all other International Countries is from 7 - 15 days delivery time.

    Any additional duty or customs fees are the responsibility of the customer. Delays are occasionally experienced within your country's customs department, so if your package has not arrived within a reasonable time, please contact your country's Customs office.

    Hallmark Ornament Information


    All ornaments are in mint condition in their original mint boxes (with normal box aging).
  • MIB = Mint in Box (Ornament is in mint condition.)
  • NB = No Box (No Hallmark box with this ornament.)
  • DB = Damaged Box (Three or more creases and/or very much damaged.)
  • SDB = Slightly Damaged Box (Slight box damage with one or two creases.)
  • VSDB = Very Slight Damaged Box (Minor damage, i.e., a name has been written on the top flap, very minor crease, etc..)
  • NT = No Tag (Price tag has been removed.)
  • Magic Ornaments

    The majority of the Magic ornaments with lights, sound and motion have the following information:
  • Ornament plugs easily into any of the light bulb sockets on a miniature tree light string.
  • Use only with standard U.L.-listed light strings of 3.5 or 6-volt bulbs.
  • Comes with attached connector cord which allows for easy placement on your tree.
  • Not for use with blinking light strings.
  • Most of the boxes have complete display instructions enclosed with the Magic ornaments.

    Ordering Online
    Add the Item to your Cart.

    Ordering online is actually simple and easy. When you have located the item/s you wish to purchase you may click on the item image to learn more about the product. Click on the Add to Cart button to place the item into your cart. Items in your cart will show in the "shopping cart" on the right of your screen.

    If you need to change quantities on an item or delete an item - change the quantity field in the shopping cart, then click on Update Totals. If you wish to delete any or all items from your cart click on the box in the Select column for each item to be deleted, and then Click on Delete. This will remove the item/items from your shopping cart. When done, click on Continue Shopping to add more to your cart or Checkout to proceed to the Checkout process.
  • Please enter your customer details which is self explanatory, i.e., full name, email, address, city, state, ZIP and phone number. If non-US, please enter your Country, associated Zip and Phone Number.
  • Check the box if your shipping destination is a commercial location.
  • Check the box if you wish insurance.
  • Fill in Shipping Details if different from Customer Details.
  • Add any additional information regarding your order in the box provided.
  • If you wish to be remembered when you return to shop with us again, click the Remember Me box. If you have purchased before, this will retrieve your shipping information.
  • It will be rare if you have a Coupon or Discount Code Number because the system automatically subtracts the discount, but if you do receive a Code Number, please enter it in the box provided.
  • Please verify all information before clicking the Checkout button to proceed.
  • The next page will provide your total for you to check before proceeding to the payment process.
  • Click the Check Out button to complete the checkout process.
  • You should receive an email confirmation of your order. If you do not receive an email confirmation, verify that the email address on the order was entered correctly and check your email spam folder.

    You may order by telephone by calling (757) 754-0601 between the hours of 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.

    Payments are made through PayPal only for all non-USA shoppers. PayPal accepts your Credit Cards. Please choose PayPal instead of Credit Card when making payment. We do not keep your credit card information on file.

    Costume Jewelry Information

    Quality / Condition.
    All items are in excellent vintage quality unless noted in condition. All are in good working condition; i.e., pins/brooches close securely, earrings close securely, necklaces clasp work, etc. There is little, if any, signs of age. Be forewarned - my images aren't the best (too much light shadows).
    Metal Terms
    Silver or Gold is used when the actual items are Sterling Silver or Gold. When the base metal is a combination of alloys of non-precious metals, especially when describing costume jewelry, silver tone, gold tone, copper colored or pewter colored is used as the color of the metal.
    Stone Terms
    For stones, when I use gemstone words, I am describing the color of costume jewelry stones such as faux amethyst, faux diamond, faux garnet, faux emerald, faux ruby, faux sapphire, faux amber, etc. These words are used only to describe the color of the non-precious stones and should not be interpreted to mean the precious stones with these same names. If I am offering a genuine stone, I will indicated the word genuine in the description. Crystal is normally Austrian Crystal. Other stones are glass or plastic imitations. Faux Pearls are imitation pearls.

    Post Card Information

    Grading / Condition.
  • Mint (M). Pristine - rarely used term - exactly as when it came off the press, perfect.
  • Almost Mint (AM) - Cards that have been handled but do not show any marks or any signs of handling. Very light aging or very slight discoloration.
  • Excellent (E) - Minimal handling. Card may show very slight signs of wear such as slight corner rubbing or bumped corners. Postally used or unused cards are in this category if perfect in other aspects. May have writing and postmark on the address side.
  • Very Good (VG) - Noticeable problems including, corners slightly rubbed/bumped, slight postmark on face, minor corner bends, edge wear and other small faults are evident. May have writing or postally used on address side. However, most collectible post cards would fall into this category.
  • Good (G) - Cards having worn, blunt and/or rounded corners, slight bends or creasing, ink marks, etc. May be postally used or writing on address side.
  • Fair (F) - Cards of extreme rarity which are only sold because of their rarity. Card is intact however there may be creases, stains, writing or postal cancellation which may affect the picture.
  • Sizes.
  • Standard Sized Cards: 3 1/2 X 5 1/2 inches. (Normal size; variations exist.)
  • Continental Sized Cards: 3 7/8 X 5 3/4 to 4 X 6 inches (Variations exist.)

    Problems with Order
    We hope there will be no problems with your orders as we strive to do our best to give our customers 100% satisfaction. However, if there is a problem, without hesitation, we'll work with you to correct that problem.
    Return Policy
    As stated in our Terms of Service Policy, if we make a mistake, we correct our mistake. Simple as that.

    We inspect our items before they leave the premises. We mark all of our items with an invisible mark in the event that one wishes to return an item to us.

    Returns will be accepted if you contact us by email before returning item/s and within three (3) days of receipt of your order.

    We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from us.
    Refunds are issued to the original method of payment. Shipping charges are non refundable for shipped orders and will only be refunded if we have made a mistake.

    Occasionally an item will become out of stock when purchased and a refund will be issued.

    Credit card refunds may take from 1 - 2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.
    Problem Resolution
    Elizabeth's Shops strives to fill your order correctly; however, in the event that a problem occurs, we promise to do our very best to correct any problems as soon as possible.
    Damaged Items
    If you should receive an item that was damaged during shipping and your package was not insured, we are not responsible for the damage.

    If insurance is purchased, we will help in every way for you to receive your money. Please don't throw any of the packaging away and take the box to your local post office immediately. Ask the Postal Clerk for the form to initiate the Insurance process.
    Missing / Incorrect Items
    We're not perfect and errors may occur. If we inadvertently make an error, please let us know by email as soon as possible so that we can rectify the problem. We will verify whether the item was refunded or inadvertently left out of the shipment and will ship out immediately if applicable.
