(This rare, limited edition, of Par is hand signed by Tom Clark on the back of Bogie’s Shirt, and you will notice Titleist is written on the leaf in front of the golf ball that Stymie is holding.)
Story: Par - (May, 1985) - This large bird has an "eagle's eye view" of the golf course where these three fellows were playing in the rough. They named the eagle "Par." When Par landed on the course, they quickly gathered around him. The two under Par are "Stymie" and "Gimme." The one over Par is "Bogie." He is wearing the Plus-4 knickers made popular on the British golf links. The coin is a half dollar, showing America's national bird. The ball is a Titlist and the eagle was carved by Jim Palmer.
Does not come with COA or Story Tag. Gnome is in very good condition with a little sliver out of her back tail feather. This gnome weight 6.5 pounds packaged. If you like gnomes and are a golf enthusiast too, you’d love this gnome.
This retired gnome was sculptured by America's premier sculptor Thomas F. Clark, Ph.D, of Cairn Studio, Ltd., Davidson, North Carolina. Dr. Clark is also the lead artist for Cairn Studio and is the most prolific sculptor in the figurine industry today. Each creation is hand-cast in a compounds of resin medium and is individually hand painted, antiqued, and highlighted.
