The Country Church of The Sarah Plain and Tall Collection - Reach Program -  Handcrafted - Dated 1994 - Sculpted by Tim Bauer - XPR9450

The Sarah, Plain and Tall Collection captures the simply beauty and strength of America’s early settlers on the Western Plains.  Because of the perseverance of these dedicated people, entire communities emerged from open prairies ... one building at a time.  The heartwarming tale of Sarah Wheaton comes to life in these handcrafted miniature replicas of actual scenes from the frontier-days movie, Sarah, Plain an Tall, a Hallmark Hall of Fame production, Designed with authentic architectural detailing and holiday decorations, the Sarah, Plain and Tall Collection features five unforgettable scenes: Sarah’s Prairie Home, The Country Church, The Hays Train Station, Mrs. Parkley’s General Store, and Sarah’s Maine Home.  On the base of each building in the collection is a brief description of the significance it had in Sarah’s story.  Displayed together or separately, the buildings in the Sarah, Plain and Tall Collection are sure to warm your heart at Christmastime.

On the base of The Country Church is written, “Sarah Wheaton and Jacob Witting danced together for the first time at the church picnic.  Later, they were married in this simply, white framed church.”

This is part of Hallmark’s Reach Program which Hallmark ran form 1989 to 2002 and it consisted of several pieces that could be purchased for a special price, often with a minimum store purchase.  The individual pieces made up a theme set such 2002's Snow Cub Club, 1998's Mickey’s Express, and this set.

Building is MIB with normal box aging. Has Price Tag.
