According to Fred Rezazadeh in his book entitled, Costume Jewelry: A Practical Handbook & Value Guide, 1998, the author states that Weiss jewelry is comparable to Eisenberg and Bogoff jewelry; without a doubt, the company manufactured some of the most beautiful and appealing rhinestone jewelry of the Post WWII era.  The company offered high quality costume jewelry with excellent Austrian rhinestones of exceptional quality and clarity. 

The company, being founded by Albert Weiss, a former Coro employee, in New York City in 1942, continued operating after Albert's retirement by his son Michael Weiss, but the firm ceased operations in the early 1970s.
