Hallmark Archives - 3rd and Final - Minnie Trims the Tree - Disney - Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Collector’s Series - Handcrafted - Dated 1999 - Sculpted by Artist Katrina Bricker - QXD4059

minnie’s delight is evident as she prepares to trim the tree with her favorite Christmas decorations.  She carefully lifts the first ornament from its box.

This Keepsake Ornament, inspired by a Hallmark greeting card created more than 60 years ago, is the third and final ornament of a series celebrating the long association between Walt Disney and Hallmark.  A Commemorative Card, based on the original artwork from the Hallmark Design Collections, is enclosed.

Quoted from this card: “This design was adapted from a Hallmark greeting card offered in 1934.  The original nine-panel card portrayed Mickey and Minnie celebrating the holidays together.  They enjoyed trimming the tree, building a snowman, sledding, and kissing under the mistletoe.

Walt Disney and Hallmark founder J. C. Hall were personal friends and professional pers.  They each began their innovative work in Kansas City.  Hallmark was one of Disney’s first licensees.  Their long-time business association, which began in 1932, has resulted in numerous products featuring Disney’s delightful characters.”

Ornament is MIB with normal box aging. Has Price Tag.
