I love everything about Christmas – surprise, surprise! 
But I have an extra-warn sport in my heart for snowmen. 
They’ll wait up til all hours for me and the deer
and never give us grief if we’ve a minute or two late. 
Plus they laugh at my jokes.  “Cold enough for you?”
I’ll say, and they’ll laugh every time.  And another
great thing about snowmen – they’re just as round as I am. 
No dieting talk from them!  Why, this delightful snowman
even gave me some candy canes “
to keep up your strength,” he said. 
I like the way he thinks!
