Postcard Offered:

A black and white postcard was created for the convenience of soldiers stationed in the State of Washington during World War II.  Even the stamp box reads, "Soldier's Mail Free."  The post card features two soldiers overlooking the Columbia River Gorge.


Front:  Columbia River gorge

Back:  Greetings from the State of Washington

Preprinted address label for the soldiers to just fill in the blanks.

This card is furnished for the convenience of men in the armed services by the Washington Sate Progress Commission, P.O. Box 907, Olympia, Washington.  Write the commission for any information desired about the state.
