Item Description:

Airborne 50th Annive3rsary World War II 1994 Calendar featuring U.S. Army photos of the 82d and 101st Airborne Divisions.  The calendar has a section for comments on each calendar from the following:

A British-made Horsa glider lifts off from a runway in England for a glider assault while one of its American-made counterparts, a CG-4A Waco glider is being loaded in the background. January 1994 Calendar

Airborne Plan - In the early morning hours of June 6, 1944, the 82nd Airborne Division with its sister division, the 101st Airborne Division , jumped into France behind the invasion beaches to secure strategic objectives. The map depicts drop zones and glider landing zones for the first critical hours of Operation OVERLORD.

This heavy card stock memorable calendar is in very good condition ... the central sheet is loose from staples.

Other Info:

If you are a collector of World War II memorabilia or had relatives in the 82d Airborne Division, this calendar has some nice U.S. Army Photos of that era.
